Sit + Stew : A collection of chairs I am obsessed with

Ahhh… to relax and read a book, or just put up your feet, maybe even curl up with a blanket and nap. Wait, whose world is that? I have a business, a husband and two kids! Seriously, it’s good for our health to take a time out. Sit and stew, as they say. Here is a favorite chair of mine in my master bedroom. It’s a destructed silk tufted gem. I love it! I pull up a foot stool and a cashmere throw, and I’ve got a spot of my own. Below are some tips and chairs I love!

Many chairs make sense but some are better than others. For a few reasons. Leather can be cold unless it’s nice and worn in. It’s also durable and easy to clean, looks better with age. Velvet is cozy but can be slippery if it’s mostly polyester not cotton. Linen is my favorite. It looks natural and it feels good on the skin, plus it’s timeless. An ottoman can make sense because where else do you put your feet? A recliner…um… yes please! It’s an all-in-one, how can you go wrong. Just make sure it’s a beautiful one. I love a swivel chair because it gives me options.
