A MOD-iterranean Makeover
Can you say faux painting everywhere ten times fast? This home had it on every surface. Faux painting artists were very well employed in South Florida in the 1990s. I remove a lot of it from my clients’ walls, light switches, ceilings, floors, base board, crown molding, tile, etc etc. It’s like a bad disease that you just can’t shake.
So I made this home uber cool and contemporary with a wave of my design wand. Well, it took about eight months but we finally got there! Renovation takes on a life of it’s own. There’s lots of moving parts. But this was fun one.
So yeah, it wasn’t that cool. But we bought a “fab factor” to the outdated mess. Below are the BEFORE pictures. Have fun analyzing the transformation. It is MOD-itterranean!
