I Designed a Room Around My Favorite Outfit

I fell in love with many different outfits in this month’s InStyle magazine (May 2016 issue)… but strangely enough I fell in love with an outfit that, at a glance, is so not me! I’m not sure I have a set style but I normally don’t button and sweater up. I am a Connecticut girl so the demure lady reveals herself on occasion. Mostly it’s the colors, softness and pattern with a touch of gold that I’m vibing on. Mix it with some neutrals, leathers, suedes and bam! You’ve got instant style.

This article was about Instant Style: Summer Whites… so everything stems from the crisp white shirt. I use a bright, white linen sofa as my anchor and build around it. The room had to be pretty and current, just like the outfit. Take a look and SHOP AWAY!
