How To Create A Magazine-Worthy Dining Room For Less
As an interior designer, I shop wholesale and many of my clients in Palm Beach county love furniture brands I use like Donghia, Holly Hunt and Ferrell Mittman. These brands are pretty pricey, but we’re lucky to have so many great and affordable furniture stores at our fingertips. A few of my favorites are West Elm, CB2 and William Sonoma Home.
I thought it would be fun to re-create one of the rooms I designed with similar yet affordable products that can easily be found online.
This dining room was featured in Luxe Interiors + Design Magazine and it’s easy as ever to recreate it for your own home. The beauty of this room is in it’s simplicity. I put some white tongue and groove on the back wall, had an artist paint the large “Blue Horizon” panels for me, chairs are upholstered in handpicked Ikat fabric, and the chandelier costs more than my mortgage payment. But fear not! This can be recreated for a fraction of the price.
