Color Crush: Peacock & Berry
This color palette is so new I’m having a difficult time finding product! It is the new California hip… natural elements mixed with some rich, sexy color. What I love the most is the depth of peacock and berry. They are full of life and they are saturated colors.
Other designers use mustard as an accent as well as blush or other pastels.
If they are mixed with a faux horse hair or natural fiber wall covering now you’ve got a very sophisticated design brewing. The copper mosaic and deep cherry cabinetry adds a deeper, more masculine edge. Imagine berry velvet in your husband’s man cave? Nothing makes me happier than the sexes merging into a full out design agreement! The embroidered and tie dye fabrics further the natural theme… modern day hippy! And the natural beige high pile shag rug gives a more dimensional quality. Yes! This is where design is heading. And I’m always excited about new trends that aren’t too thematic.
