About Last Night: Food Truck Love
I recently completed shooting (my sixth consecutive season!) of The Vanilla Ice Project for DIY network. Rob Van Winkle (aka Vanilla Ice) always hosts a wrap party/open house at the end of the shoot. He opens up the home that we renovated to family and friends for a fun evening of home tours, music and food.

One of my favorite things about the event was the food…they had a food truck! Offerings included fish tacos, crabcake sliders and delectable grilled cheese…yum.

Food trucks are now all the rage even for weddings! I love the idea of having a food truck at an event to do the catering. It is fun, easy and no kitchen clean-up required at the end of the night! I recently hired a food truck for a Halloween party I had at my home. That truck fed our entire neighborhood, and some came back for thirds! It was uber fun.
