About Last Night: Swank Farms
Last night we went to a very special event hosted by Swank Specialty Produce. A group of local and nationally known chefs presented dinner in an exquisite, rustic el fresco setting at Swank Farms (named after Jodi Swank, who owns the farm) in in Loxahatchee, Florida.
We got a chance to tour the hydrophonic growing houses and we sampled some truly amazing culinary bites and organic wines.
The lineup of chefs was amazing and included Aaron Brooks, Executive Chef of Edge Steak & Bar in Miami, Adonay Tafur, Executive Chef of The Dutch in Miami Beach, Alex Chang, Executive Chef of Vagabond Restaurant & Bar in Miami, Max Santiago, Executive Pastry Chef/Partner of The Salty Donut in Miami and Melanie Robertson-Ober, Sommelier of Cordon Bleu Catering in West Palm Beach.
The theme of the evening was “Chinese New Year” and we celebrated the Year of the Monkey in the best possible way…with great food, lots of vino and great friends!
