Executive & Creative Director

Krista Watterworth Alterman is Connecticut-born, New York-trained, and proudly rooted in Palm Beach County. Known for her fresh take on timeless design, Krista’s signature aesthetic—modern, clean, and classically inspired—has made her the go-to interior designer for luxury clients across South Florida. Krista holds a Master of Fine Arts from the prestigious New School in Manhattan and studied interior design at the renowned Parsons School of Design, where she returned to serve as an adjunct professor. As the New York Daily News once wrote, Krista is “a designer who gives a room soul.”

A celebrated television personality, Krista hosted HGTV favorites Save My Bath and Splurge & Save, appeared as a design expert on Food Network’s Restaurant: Impossible, and spent nine seasons transforming homes on DIY Network’s The Vanilla Ice Project.

Her award-winning work has earned widespread recognition including Architectural Digest, LUXE Interiors + Design, Florida Design, and Modern Luxury. Krista and her husband Eric (a tech entrepreneur) relocated from NYC to Palm Beach Gardens in 2010, where they live with their two children, Griffon and Skylar and their Portuguese water dogs, Rocky and Mila.

Eric is the founder of numerous venture-backed technology companies, including MeshNetworks, MILCOM, Triton Network Systems, Flow Corporation, and KickApps Corporation. He is an advisor and investor in multiple tech startups, and a recovering attorney, with a background in intellectual property, licensing and litigation.
