KRISTA W. ALTERMAN, ASID, IIDA, IDS
Executive & Creative Director
Krista Watterworth Alterman is Connecticut-born, New York-trained, and proudly rooted in Palm Beach County. Known for her fresh take on timeless design, Krista’s signature aesthetic—modern, clean, and classically inspired—has made her the go-to interior designer for luxury clients across South Florida. Krista holds a Master of Fine Arts from the prestigious New School in Manhattan and studied interior design at the renowned Parsons School of Design, where she returned to serve as an adjunct professor. As the New York Daily News once wrote, Krista is “a designer who gives a room soul.”
A celebrated television personality, Krista hosted HGTV favorites Save My Bath and Splurge & Save, appeared as a design expert on Food Network’s Restaurant: Impossible, and spent nine seasons transforming homes on DIY Network’s The Vanilla Ice Project.
Her award-winning work has earned widespread recognition including Architectural Digest, LUXE Interiors + Design, Florida Design, and Modern Luxury. Krista and her husband Eric (a tech entrepreneur) relocated from NYC to Palm Beach Gardens in 2010, where they live with their two children, Griffon and Skylar and their Portuguese water dogs, Rocky and Mila.
DANIELLE GIORGIO
Director of Design & Senior Interior Designer
Danielle holds a Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Italian from the University of Notre Dame and has over 12 years of experience as an interior designer. Danielle grew up in Greenwich, CT, where her love of interior design began. Danielle has worked for world-renowned interior design firms over the course of her career that has been featured in a number of prestigious publications, including Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and Luxe Magazine. She loves mixing the old with the new and using color, pattern, and lots of texture while keeping spaces serene and calm. When not at work, you can find her on the tennis courts, riding horses, or at the gym.
KIRSTIN KAPLAN
Senior Interior Designer
Kirstin holds an Interior Design degree from Palm Beach State College and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida. Her love of design started as a child while watching her dad work with architectural blueprints. When not at the office, you will most likely find her at the beach with her family—a true Florida girl! Kirstin just purchased her forever home on 1.5 acres in Palm Beach Gardens and has big plans for the redesign. She has a great eye and a fresh, modern point of view that aligns perfectly with the KH style.
ERIC ALTERMAN
Co-Founder
Eric is the founder of numerous venture-backed technology companies, including MeshNetworks, MILCOM, Triton Network Systems, Flow Corporation, and KickApps Corporation. He is an advisor and investor in multiple tech startups, and a recovering attorney, with a background in intellectual property, licensing and litigation.
CATHERINE HILL
Director of Creative Development and Client Services
Raised in Connecticut, schooled in RI, and a current FL resident, Catherine is well versed in all things classic, coastal, and in between. She earned a double major in Painting and Graphic design from Salve Regina in Newport RI, and is pursuing her residential interior design certificate from RISD. Catherine’s experience encapsulates a broad knowledge of design, marketing, and luxury client services. When not in the office, you will find her enjoying family time either playing in her family's annual golf tournament, traveling, gardening, or at the beach in RI or FL (admittedly she has an East Coast bias). Her positive attitude and zest for finding a positive solution in any situation makes her an invaluable member of the KH team.
EILEEN TRIMBLE
Director of Purchasing & Operations
With more than 33 years of experience in the design industry in South Florida, Eileen offers an organized and thorough approach to purchasing and design operations. Eileen touches every one of our projects, from initial budgeting to final walk-throughs, ensuring continuity and Client satisfaction. She is a natural leader that brings an organized and calm mindset to everything she does.
MELISSA PLANK
Melissa was born and raised on Long Island and loved watching Bob Villa’s This Old House on Saturday mornings instead of cartoons. Designer drapery and furniture were her most frequently requested birthday gifts! Melissa has an Associates Degree in Interior Design and 15 years of experience in the industry, working for manufacturers, showrooms and designers throughout South Florida. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has two children and two adorable pups.
ADAM YOUNGBLOOD
Construction & Project Manager
Adam has over ten years of experience in residential construction with an emphasis on cabinetry, trim and custom millwork. Passionate about providing outstanding client service, he has worked in almost every aspect of the construction process, from condo flipping and commercial production, to upgrading beautiful estate properties throughout South Florida. He prides himself on being able to handle any and all aspects of a home renovation. When not at work, you will find Adam playing the drums and bass guitar, watching football (go Broncos!), and exploring the Palm Beaches with his wife and daughter.
KALEY BOGDEN
Originally from New Jersey, Kaley is a proud alum of Florida State's Interior Architecture and Design program. Kaley is focused on designing spaces that are beautiful and functional, while delivering a wonderful feeling of well-being. She is an AutoCad and Photoshop whiz with an even-tempered personality that brings a pleasant calm to every project she works on! When not at the office, you will find Kaley enjoying the outdoors, working out at Orangetheory, or spending time with friends and family.
JAMIE BRIGHT
Jamie is a born and raised Florida girl who went back to school at Palm Beach State College as a new mom where she received her degree in Interior Design. Her background includes years of construction, accounting, and business operations. She loves designing with color variation and patterns and especially loves working alongside her wonderful KH teammates! In her free time, Jamie enjoys time with friends and family, cooking, boating, and having fun with her 3 goats and flock of chickens.
SARA SHERMAN
Associate Interior Designer
Sara is a Florida native with a degree in interior design from Palm Beach State College. Her passion for design began at a young age, rearranging the furniture in her room at least once every month! With a deep appreciation for diverse styles, she draws inspiration from her surroundings and embraces creativity in all its forms. When not designing, Sara enjoys seeking outdoor adventures, hitting up Orangetheory, and spending quality time with friends and family.
EMILY KUSBER
Purchasing Manager
A San Francisco, CA native, Emily traded the Golden Gate for the Palm Beaches in 2022 and has been part of the KH team ever since! Emily has worked in several different industries throughout her career and has found her niche at Krista + Home as the team’s Purchasing Coordinator. When she is not working, you may find her crafting the perfect at-home latte or espresso, baking a batch of cookies for the office, watching constant reruns of New Girl, or planning her next adventure with her husband Ryan and her four dogs Louie, Ansel, Dante and Karen.
ANDREA BOND
Administrative Manager and Purchasing Assistant
Andrea has 15 years of experience working in the furniture industry. She loves the Florida lifestyle and says she “would never make it in the snow”. Her passion is putting a smile on everyone’s face—teammates and clients—by taking on challenges and solving problems. When she’s not at work, you will find Andrea enjoying time with her husband and three children.
HELENE MCLAUGHLIN
Accounts Manager
Helene has worked in the interior design industry for over 35 years. She has had the privilege of working with clients from Princeton to Palm Beach, including a few very famous musicians! Helene was a Fine Art Major at Beaver College and studied interior design at Philadelphia College of Art and Parson's School of Design. When she is not in the office, she enjoys watercolor, painting, and knitting.

Associate Interior Designer
Kaitlyn is a detail-oriented designer, passionate about creating functional and beautiful spaces. She believes a well-designed space should reflect the hearts and minds of its inhabitants, inspiring connection to their families and surroundings.
CATALINA PRATT
Associate Interior Designer
Catalina, an Auburn University graduate and avid freediver, brings a natural sense of style and creativity to every project. She began her design journey as an intern with Krista Home in 2024, learning from the very best in the industry!
ANA ATENCIO
Associate Draftsperson
Ana, originally from Venezuela, is a trained architect with a strong technical foundation in architectural drawing. As the team’s dedicated draftsperson, she brings precision, efficiency, and a thorough understanding of design documentation to every project. Her attention to detail ensures that each plan is executed with clarity and accuracy.
