A day in the life of our Executive Creative Director, @krista.alterman looks a little something like this….

“The day always starts the same - coffee in my Brooklyn mug (a little reminder that you can take the girl out of New York, but you can’t take the New York out of the girl).

From packing lunches and feeding the dogs to a quick Peloton ride and getting ready while listening to daily affirmations, mornings are all about setting the tone for the day ahead.

Then it’s off to the office for a full day of design, meetings, and doing what I love - before sprinting home to refresh, change into outfit #2, and head back out for the evening.

Grateful to wrap the night celebrating such an incredible cause at the @chasinadreamfoundation - Fairways Fore Good Gala with the most amazing Locals Helping Locals in Jupiter, Florida.

It’s finally time!! 😍😍 Install days are where the vision becomes reality — and this one for Holiday House Wellington is so special!

We always start at the warehouse - movers ready and a design plan mapped out down to the last detail. But here’s the part you don’t see on a mood board: the
“warehouse pull”. Here’s what it looks like: Krista walks the warehouse curating all kinds of items: Lighting. Accessories. Statement pieces. Art. Coffee table books. Layer after layer pulled with intention. A warehouse pull looks a little chaotic and completely electric at the same time. It’s organized creativity in motion. It’s letting the designers cook.

Everything gets loaded, delivered, and laid out at the project site - this time, Holiday House in Wellington. From there, Krista and our design team edit, refine, and curate again. Every piece earns its place. Every room gets its moment.

@holidayhousedesigns Wellington is going to be iconic this year. And being part of something Iris Dankner brought to Palm Beach County - rooted in vision, resilience, and purpose - makes it even more meaningful. A designer. A founder. A survivor. A woman who turned her story into impact and has raised millions in the process.

Holiday House was founded by breast cancer survivor Iris Dankner with a powerful mission: raising critical funds for breast cancer research through the design community. This year, approximately 20 leading designers will transform two stunning homes at The Palm Beach Polo Club in Wellington - all in support of a world without breast cancer.

Join us for the Opening Night Gala on March 3rd, 2026 from 5–9 PM, with the showhouse open to the public March 4th through May 3rd.
